Tai Chi Chuan is a complete martial art system. In this class, you learn how to put Tai Chi Eight Key Words (Peng, Lu, Ji , An, Cai, Lie, Zou, Kao) into application, how to turn soft into hard, slow into fast, how to issue power (Fa Jin) with each part of your body, arm, elbow, shoulder, hip and cet.. You also learn how to extend your arms and Yi (intention) by using cold weapons.
In other words, Class 301 is consists of two parts. One is 42 Tai Chi San Shou in that you learn 42 Fa Jin movements. The other is the single form drills of sword, broadsword, cudgel and spear. We focus on the practical application of the weapons and make them function as if they become part of your body.
