Children aged between 5 to 11 years are permitted to fly alone Southwest Airlines Unaccompanied Minors. Kids aged 12 or older can also travel without accompanying adults or UM services. Unaccompanied minors must be checked in by their parents or guardians at the ticket counter. Parents are also required to provide a contact number for when the child needs to be picked up. There is a fee associated with UM service. As always, policies may change at Southwest, so check the newest information prior to booking a flight. Southwest Airlines wishes you safe travels.
