Biography for Sun Anguang


Sun Anguang
(right) has been practicing chinese martial arts for nearly 30 years. He was officially certified Wushu referee in 1985 and Taiji Instructor in 1992 by the chinese municipal government. After immgrating to America with the extraordinary ability  in Taiji, he has been very active in teaching and preaching Taiji in Los Angeles areas. He has held over three-thousand-hour regular Taiji classes and conducted over hundred Taiji related seminars and workshops in the last ten years. 

He is the founder and director of Taiji Club of Los Angeles (1998), Tai Chi Academy of Los Angeles (2004) and International Taiji Cultural Exchange,Inc (2008). He is also the co-founder of Southern California Taichichuan Association (1999) and board member of U.S.A. National Tai Chi Chuan Federation since 2001.
 
He is the leader of 2008 Los Angeles Taiji Festival, and numerous Taiji events like annual World Taichi & Qigong Day and Millennium Southern California Tai Chi Chuan Demonstration. He was awarded Tai Chi Master of The Year 2008 by The Eleventh World Congress on Qigong/TCM.
 
Sun Anguang belives in the miraculous healing power of Taiji Quan. His understanding of Taiji is PEACE IN MIND & PEACE IN BODY.
